2007 Season - Week 20
BUMSBowl XII
It was a bad weekend for the Bowden Brothers as both crashed out. Johnny lost the FishBowl to Stampy 15-29 and Mark lost to Wayne 14-0 in the second half as Wayne won 15-20. Wayne lost BUMSbowl VIII to Chief on the momentum rule after a 33-33 tie. This is David’s first visit to the big dance. They’ve met once in the postseason back in 2003 when Wayne beat David 17-14 in the Championship round.
All-BUMS Voting
Don’t forget to vote for your favourite players of 2006. Remember I need (in order) your top 3 Running Backs and top 3 Receivers plus your number 1 & 2 Quarterbacks, Kickers and Coaches. Vote for your players based on BUMS points, how much you enjoy them, what they meant to their BUMS roster/NFL team or just the fact they were on your roster. The deadline is Thursday January 31st so get your votes in as soon as possible.
It Could Have Been So Different
For the second year running John and Ron were the only two owners not to trade anyone. Without trading day Cheryl and Dave G would have been relegated and Marcus and John would have stayed up. Cheryl improved her score the most. Her five Trading Day 1 changes netting her 151 extra points. In the Conference AP’s trades gave him 125 extra points and as a result AP went up & George will spend his third season in the Conference. Without trades the tables would have looked like this:
PREMIERSHIP actual finish CONFERENCE actual finish
1 Andy H 626 1 1 Mark H 436 1
2 Ron 498 3 2 Daz 373 3
3 Johnny 481 2 3 George 367 4
